There is such a thing as a personal finance industry in the United States. You have Dave Ramsey, Suze Orman, and below them, thousands of personal finance bloggers and YouTubers—and they all say the same thing—and they’re all a bunch of ding-dongs. And we’re all tired of them preaching dumb shit.

How about some new ideas, ideas that are grounded in math and truths about human psychology? How about some ideas that address the root problem of money management—our unhealthy relationship with money and the degree to which it causes us stress and unhappiness?
