Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from negativity.

Yes... we should learn to appreciate the Ducks in the water that dont seem to mind waves crashing over them. They are chill, in the moment and aren't concerned. There are just being and existing and experiencing, and its all good! Thanks for the essay today. .....next time ask your wife if she would care to go to hot tub...she may surprise. you. ;-)

This may be your best work yet :) I’ve sent it to part of the trading floor the day after ‘disappointing bonuses’ - the responses will be fun

Another great piece. You always work something hilarious into your articles, ..."even when things are really going pear-shaped"... 😂

Almost totally agree with this except for the tree by the pool. I totally agree complaining is just bringing negativity into the world but damn I had an oak tree just south of my pool in mt pleasant and I’m just about OCD temperament wrt it, and all spring long it was pissing into the wind, cleaning windows while pigeons on the roof, weeks upon weeks of detritus into the pool. I never wanted the pool in the first place so I had that going for me. Complaining didn’t help though, never does. Just spread the annoyance to my family. But we moved so I know never to set myself up for that again.
