Yup, we assign value to words. The other person could be saying those words in a different language, screaming, and we might look at them and laugh at this crazy person in front of us. It is us that places meaning/value on their words. This leads nicely in to another thought... That we are the creators of our own reality.
Outstanding piece. Love it. But as you imply, it takes years of development to get to this point. We might need a different solution for young people who haven't yet had the opportunity to develop.
I completely agree. Anger poisons your thought process. I believe in God. I also think Jesus was right that we should be kind to each other. I really like (love?) your internet site.
More living proof right here. Used to be a wrench-whipping hothead, and I sure don’t miss acting that way. But, I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t creep up on me sometimes—it’s still a challenge to manage but feels good to put that nonsense to bed.
This appeals to my libertarian leanings! I don't easily get "offended", hurt perhaps but that also takes a ton of effort and I can't remember the last time I was. I do believe in community standards in the public square but I don't wish to impose it on everyone unless you're hell-bent on screaming fire in a crowded theater.
I have read 3 of your books. I enjoyed them all. You are very talented and deserve to know you are.
I wish you peace, love and better body image. You are not a fat fuck. Get over that.

I f*cking love this you dirtbag trouser-pilot.

I am proof as well. I had quite a temper young, but have mostly reformed.
This offends me.

Brilliant!
Well said Jared

Well done. Borderline "Genius". Hell, it was "Genius". Enjoy reading your thoughts both financial and non-financial.

One of your best!

Mitch, that sounds like the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL.
