Well said...redemption is "not for the people who need it but want it". Within the framework of a justice system such as ours where the victim(s) are due something (restitution or otherwise), we can probably do a better job at rehabbing criminals while they sit in prison, if they want for it.

An interesting Christmas story. The story of the birth of Jesus is a story of hope for the restoration and redemption of a fallen world. One person at a time. Unfortunately an influential person, King Herod, needed redemption but slept through the night and then tried to save himself. Hundreds of innocents died and their parents suffered as a result.

One of your best. I have doubted that had I not screwed up so royally young, I would have become as good as I am now. I would not recommend it as a life strategy, but it helped me overall.
